Beauty-full

This photo of my Jeep was taken a few years ago, shortly after I bought it. I find both the color and the design striking and unique.

This photo is of our beloved pet, Spirit. He sure was a handsome cat.

I took this photo earlier this afternoon. We are currently enjoying another colorful and gorgeous day here in St. Paul.

This photo was also taken this afternoon. It's amazing that at this late stage in fall, we still have flowers in bloom here in the Twin Cities.

Why am I sharing this with you? It because, sadly, we rarely talk about beauty in the Church these days. This is a shame because beauty has much to teach us about God.

Down through the ages men and women have pondered the mystery of beauty.
